Back when I was 8 there was just a black-and-white picture of a tiny bar magnet floating above a bowl-shaped piece of lead cooled by liquid helium (the Messiner effect [1]). There was a room full of equipment not shown.

Now we have this. It feels like I'm living in 2011 (see [2] :-)
