Excellent 2009 interview with Roger Pen
Excellent 2009 interview with Roger Penrose. Surprised to hear him dismissive of the many-worlds interpretation though. In Anathem the idea of a many-world quantum-mechanical consciousness is a central concept, and was inspired by Penrose's The Emperor's New Mind (which I must now read). There must be some difference that I haven't understood.
