Note your ability to control the game's speed, to pause, and to restart. These are quite helpful. Try to set the rules so that you can win even if you don't directly manipulating the environment (yes you can do that too), or adding rules in mid-play. Level 14 is tricky.

Hey Tim. Thanks for the re-share. I really liked your stuff. Even tried to do some research in AC a while back partly based on it but it didn't pan out (Science is hard and stuff). Hope I'll get into ALife sometime in the future. This stuff is really cool.
