Originally shared by Romain BrasseletThe only triple helix staircase in the world.
It is located in the Museo do pobo Galego (Museum of the Galician People) in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, northwestern Spain.
It spans more than 3 floors and distribute them with a total of 14 doors. But on each floor, the doors are at unequal heights: the floors of the rooms happen to be at different levels. So there are additional stairs linking the rooms of the same "floor".
This is a masterpiece of architecture. I stayed at least 30 minutes looking at it and trying to make pictures that would convey its exquisite beauty.
