A pioneering electronic instrument lost
A pioneering electronic instrument lost since the 1970s was recently recovered from a barn in Brittany, France.
"It's a computer system but it has these analog inputs ... these [film-strips] lay across here and you draw on them ... it reads the difference in light and turns them into voltage ... you draw the waveform ... and that's the actual waveform it uses to make the sound."
