Relly interesting. Took for me about a minute to spot it. Resembles me that interesting fact that we are unable to notice change if it occurs during saccadic movement of the eye.

I think the white flash separating the two frames is what makes it much harder to see. It is kind of a surprise or distraction. Without that, it would be trivial, regardless of the rate.

+stefan jeffers It's like a GIF version of sleight of hand or misdirection. I actually noticed the Photoshop artifacts before noticing the real change, somehow.
