By default it paints into chemical ‘a’ but then shows chemical ‘b’ - try changing the ‘active chemical’ to ‘b’ in the Info Pane?

Join two paper loops as shown. The resulting shape has a single edge, that loops all the way around both strips.

The surface has two sides, so it’s not like a Mobius strip or Klein bottle which have only one. Topologically it is a disk with a handle.

Paper loop construction suggests fun extensions. With 3 loops joined in a line you get a surface with 2 sides and 2 edges, as with 1 loop.

But they’re not the same surface! The 3-loop one is like a cylinder with a hole drilled through it.
