I use this: bilaplacian_a = (-10 * (a_n + a_w + a_e + a_s) + -2 * (a_nw + a_ne + a_sw + a_se) + a_n2w + a_n2 + a_n2e + a_nw2 + a_ne2 + a_w2 + a_e2 + a_sw2 + a_se2 + a_s2w + a_s2 + a_s2e + 36 * a) / (3 * dx * dx * dx * dx); Where n2 means ‘2 cells north’, etc.

I just see a black rectangle.

The code looks like it is doing the laplacian and bilaplacian in 1D.

Ready will show you the OpenCL code for any pattern: View > View Full Kernel.

The limit set of a Kleinian group of two Möbius transformations and their inverses. By applying fractional powers of each transform we can show how they map the set onto itself. This self-similarity is what gives rise to its fractal nature. 1/3 https://timhutton.github.io/mobius-transforms/dfs_recipes.html

Compare with the same idea applied to a Julia set. Here the transformation is z → z²+c which wraps over itself every iteration. 2/3 https://youtu.be/iznx-trhCmo
